WCW Villains Heels Discussion

In this episode Robert talks with Gavin Napier and Steve Cook Original air date October 3, 2014.

From 2013-2015 Robert Winfree hosted Everyone Loves a Bad Guy, an eclectic podcast dedicated to villainy across media. Robert, Gavin Napier and Steve Cook talk about the villains and legacy of World Championship Wrestling, WCW. Original airdate October 3, 2014 for this WCW Villains Heels Discussion.

The New World Order (commonly abbreviated as nWo) was an American professional wrestling group that originally consisted of “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash.

The stable originated in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) with the gimmick of a group of unsanctioned wrestlers aiming to “take over” and control WCW in the manner of a street gang. The group later appeared in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) after the purchase of WCW by the WWF. The nWo angle became one of the most influential storylines in the mid-to-late 1990s success of WCW and was instrumental in turning mainstream North American professional wrestling into a more mature, adult-oriented product. The stable became one of the main driving forces behind WCW competing with the WWF in the Monday Night Wars.

About Radulich in Broadcasting’s Beginnings

Mark Radulich has been an internet personality since 2004 with his Progressive Conservatism blog. He then took that blog to the airwaves and created a podcast for it. It then changed to PC Live. After that, he brought out the 411mania Ground and Pound Radio as well.

Also, Mark would partner up with another 411mania alum, Sean Comer, to create the movie franchise review podcast Long Road to Ruin and then Robert Cooper to create the metal album review podcast, The Metal Hammer of Doom. Robert Winfree then added his own podcast, Everybody Loves a Bad Guy. That’s when the Radulich in Broadcasting Network was born. Joining Winfree in having their own podcasts were super fans Jesse Starcher (Source Material). Finally, Winfree and Radulich added a weekly movie review show to the ever-growing lists of podcasts on the Network called Damn You Hollywood.
