While some are still recovering my Barbenheimer, Neil and Chris are bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to tell what you should(or shouldn’t?) watch next. First, after an intro where the brotherly love between Neil and Chris is so rich and palpable, they talk the bonkers sci fi comedy movie on Netlifx called They Cloned Tyrone starring John Boyega, Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parrris, Then, after a news segment, they go down under and talk the highly buzzed new Aussie horror film- Talk To Me. Are they worth watching? Lean in close and we’ll tell you. Closer. No, closer. Hit play. You know you want to. C’mon, what are you afraid of? They won’t bite.

They Cloned Tyrone is a 2023 American science fiction comedy mystery film directed by Juel Taylor, in his feature film directorial debut, from a screenplay he wrote with Tony Rettenmaier. It stars John Boyega, Teyonah Parris, and Jamie Foxx (who also serves as a producer) as an unlikely trio uncovering a government cloning conspiracy. David Alan Grier and Kiefer Sutherland also appear in supporting roles.

They Cloned Tyrone premiered at the American Black Film Festival on June 14, 2023, and began a limited theatrical release on July 14, 2023, before streaming on July 21, 2023, by Netflix. The film received positive reviews from critics, with particular praise aimed at the humor and lead cast performances.

Talk to Me is a 2022 Australian supernatural horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, in their feature film directorial debut. Written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman from a concept by Daley Pearson, it stars Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, and Miranda Otto. It follows a group of teenagers who discover they are able to contact spirits using a mysterious embalmed hand, only for one of them to take things too far.

Talk to Me had its preview screening at the 2022 Adelaide Film Festival, followed by its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on 22 January 2023. It was theatrically released in Australia on 27 July 2023 and internationally the following day. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised its story, horror sequences, practical effects, and performances. A sequel is currently in development.
