Candyman Film Series Review 1992 – 1999

Sean Comer and Mark Radulich present their Candyman Film Series Review 1992 – 1999. Candyman is an American supernatural slasher film series originating from the 1985 short story “The Forbidden” of the collection Books of Blood by Clive Barker, about the legend of the “Candyman”, the ghost of an artist and son of a slave who was murdered in the late 19th century. Its film adaptation, Candyman, directed by Bernard Rose in 1992, starred Tony Todd as the title character. Although the film initially underperformed at the American box office, it became a cult classic. A novelization and a comic adaptation of the film were released in the same year. Two sequels subtitled Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (1995) and Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) were released while a direct sequel to the original Candyman, produced by Jordan Peele, was released on August 27, 2021.

About Radulich in Broadcasting’s Beginnings

Mark Radulich has been an internet personality since 2004 with his Progressive Conservatism blog. He then took that blog to the airwaves and created a podcast for it. It then changed to PC Live. After that, he brought out the 411mania Ground and Pound Radio as well.

Also, Mark would partner up with another 411mania alum, Sean Comer, to create the movie franchise review podcast Long Road to Ruin and then Robert Cooper to create the metal album review podcast, The Metal Hammer of Doom. Robert Winfree then added his own podcast, Everybody Loves a Bad Guy. That’s when the Radulich in Broadcasting Network was born. Joining Winfree in having their own podcasts were super fan’s Jesse Starcher (Source Material). Finally, Winfree and Radulich added a weekly movie review show to the ever-growing lists of podcasts on the Network called Damn You Hollywood.
