W2M: TNA Injunction Denied, NOAH Purchased, More

TNA Injunction Denied

On this W2M episode, Gary (@W2Mgary), Sean (@W2MSean) and Paul (@hailtothechimp7) discuss the latest happenings in the world of pro-wrestling.

The guys begin with Gary and Paul discussing their thoughts on the WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 PPV from Sunday night. Since they were not on the W2M HIAC Review, they wanted some time to talk about it.

Then, they get into the wrestling news in “Quick Hits.” Breaking news arrives just before the podcast that Pro Wrestling NOAH Purchased by an IT company called Estbee. They purchased everything involving NOAH according to Tokyo Sports. How does this affect the New Japan relationship? Could this mean that the tide has finally changed for NOAH? What about a possible All Japan man UCHIDA running it? There’s not many details, so probably we will know more by the W2M Pt 2 show.

Billy Corgan’s TNA Injunction Denied by the Tennessee Court today as well. We discuss what this means for the case, what it means for TNA, and what Mike Bennett and Maria had to say about it too.

There’s also Austin Aries orbital bone fracture leaving him sidelined until 2017, Edge and Beth Phoenix getting married, plus more.

After that, Paul gives the rundown on this week’s ROH TV. Sean also discusses the latest from the New Japan Road to Power Struggle 10/30 show. With an update on the Super Juniors Tag Tournament.

Sean Garmer

Sean studied Journalism at the University of North Texas. He loves pro-wrestling so much that he even trained to be a wrestler at the age of 17. Though he eventually had to quit wrestling to go to college. He still returned to do play-by-play commentary, help write storylines, and most of all, to watch matches. Sean started his love of pro-wrestling at the age of five after watching a Hulk Hogan match. Due to his family hating sports-entertainment, there were many years he missed. However, he returned full-time to being a fan in the late 1990’s. Since then, Sean has gone on to write for various wrestling websites. Thankfully, he discovered his true passion, Podcasting, four years ago. When he and Gary started the Wrestling 2 the MAX Podcast.

Paul Leazar

Paul has a history degree from the University of North Texas, but right now works at a Comic Book store. He was born an’ raised in the great state of Texas, and began his love affair with pro wrestling at the tender age of five after watching WWF’s Summerslam 1993 pay-per-view. The relationship turned serious with the growth of independent wrestling and the internet in the early 2000’s, which has seen the love affair turn into a full blown addiction that led him to write about it for various websites, host his own podcast “The Wrestling Time Machine” and co-host the Wrestling 2 The MAX podcast.
